The Flying Scenery
The Day Pilot experience is not only about more flying time – it is also about the spectacular scenery. Central Switzerland offers several places that are especially impressive from the air. Depending on the weather conditions, your day can take place around Mount Rigi with beautiful lake views and wide panoramic scenery. Or we can fly at Mount Pilatus known for its striking mountain formations and far-reaching views across the Swiss Alps. Engelberg is also an option if you are looking for dramatic mountain scenery and a true Alpine atmosphere.
You can tell me which landscape you would most like to experience. I make the final choice based on wind, weather and safety, so you get the most beautiful paragliding location in Central Switzerland that truly fits the conditions on that day.
How Your Day Pilot Experience works
1. Morning Start
The day before, I check the latest weather conditions and let you know the meeting point. We meet at the agreed location and start with the first tandem paragliding flight of the day.
2. Flight, Break, Next Flight
Between flights, there are short transfers, small breaks and time to relax. There is no need to rush. Your paragliding day in Central Switzerland should feel like a holiday.
3. Afternoon Finish
Towards the end of the day, we check what is still possible. If the conditions are suitable, we enjoy one final flight. Afterwards, the day comes to an end, with a full day of unforgettable moments in the air behind you.
Photos and Videos
With the Day Pilot experience, photos and videos are included with every flight. I capture the most important moments, from take-off to the views in the air, so you can fully focus on flying and still take home a complete collection from your paragliding day in Central Switzerland.
After each flight, we briefly check that everything has been captured properly. By the end of the day, you’ll have several clips and photos from different flights. That is what makes the Day Pilot experience so special: instead of just one highlight, you take home a whole series of unforgettable moments in the air.

Safety
With the Day Pilot experience, safety always comes first. We only fly when wind, weather and visibility are suitable. I usually confirm the final go-ahead the evening before. If conditions are not safe on the flying day, we adjust the plan or reschedule the entire day.
Before every flight, you receive a short and easy-to-understand briefing. I carefully check the equipment and explain what is important during take-off and landing. Since we have several paragliding areas in Central Switzerland to choose from, we select the locations that best match the current conditions throughout the day. This keeps the experience relaxed while every decision remains consistently focused on safety.

Perfect for you if you don’t want just one short flight, but a full day of paragliding as a complete experience. Many choose the Day Pilot because they want variety and several take-offs without having to plan each flight separately.
You don’t need to be particularly fit or athletic. However, you should be comfortable walking and able to walk briskly for a few minutes. Take-off and landing require a short burst of activity, while the rest of the flight is relaxed.
It’s an active day, but definitely not a marathon. There are breaks between the flights, giving you time to eat, drink and relax. If you feel you’ve had enough, we simply adjust the rest of the day.
You tell me which scenery or flying areas you prefer. The evening before, I check the wind, weather and thermal conditions and choose the locations where we can fly safely and enjoy the best possible conditions. During the flying day, I keep checking the weather and current conditions closely. That’s why the plan may also change throughout the day.
Ideally, wear long trousers, a windproof jacket and sturdy shoes. Bring sunglasses and something to drink. A small backpack is also practical. This way, you’ll be well prepared for changing temperatures in the mountains.
Yes. Breaks are an important part of the day. We plan them so you can recharge and enjoy the experience at a comfortable pace. This is especially important when doing several flights.
